China marked the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in WWII with a massive Victory Day military parade in Beijing, where President Xi Jinping declared China “unstoppable” flanked by Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
But the show of force did not go unanswered.
Donald Trump fired back in a fiery post, accusing Xi, Putin, and Kim of conspiring against America, while reminding the world of America’s historic role in World War II.
With nuclear missiles, hypersonic weapons, lasers, robot dogs and stealth jets on display, Beijing’s parade signaled a bold challenge to US dominance in Asia — even as Trump invoked history to warn of what’s at stake.
