North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has issued a final nuclear warning to the U.S. and South Korea, accusing their joint military drills of being a “direct threat” to Pyongyang.
During a visit to a navy destroyer, Kim called for a rapid expansion of North Korea’s nuclear arsenal and accused Washington and Seoul of preparing for war.
His sister, Kim Yo Jong, rejected dialogue and slammed South Korea’s reliance on the U.S. With Ulchi Freedom Shield drills underway, tensions on the Korean Peninsula continue to mount.
