Merseyside Police confirms an incident where 50 people were injured after a car ploughed into a crowd during Liverpool FC's Premier League victory parade on Monday evening is not being treated as terrorism.

Merseyside Police Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims warns, “it is vital that people do not speculate or spread misinformation on social media”.

A 53-year-old man has been arrested by police.
