The Israeli Defence Forces launched a heavy missile strike on the European Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, killing at least 28 people and causing massive destruction.
Israel claims the target was a tunnel housing top Hamas operative Mohammed Sinwar, brother of Yahya Sinwar.
Hamas denies operating near the hospital, calling the attack a strike on civilians.
The strikes came just hours after Israel also hit Nasser Hospital, killing at least 18.
Israel PM Netanyahu has vowed to eliminate Hamas with ‘full force’ in the coming days.
