Celebrations have hit East Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood as Jerusalem Magistrates’ Court suspended the eviction of the Salem family.
The planned eviction had caused a number of protests that led to clashes with Israeli forces and police, in recent weeks.
