Pacific Gas & Electric confessed Tuesday to killing 84 people in a devastating 2018 wildfire that wiped out the Northern California town of Paradise in November 2018.

Today wrapped up a little over an hour ago.

Pg&e ceo bill johnson entered the plead of guilty to 84 counts of involuntary manslaughter.

Judge: on behalf of pg&e how do you plead to violation of penal code section 1-92-b "involuntary manslaughter" as a felony concerning the death of paul robert ernest, as alleged, in count 24 of the indictment?

Johnson: guilty, your honor.

One by one the judge read out loud the names of the 84 people killed in the camp fire as their pictures scrolled across the screen.

Johnson looked at each picture as he said guilty for each count.

When that wrapped up - johnson apologized for the utility in the fire.

Johnson also plead guilty to pg&e unlawfully causing a fire.

The hearings continue... tomorrow we will hear statements from family members who lost loved ones.
