Stories of Loss: Family members of those killed in Camp Fire share their stories

One man shared with the courtroom what his brother's last few seconds may have been like.

Families of camp fire victims shares their stories of loss our christina vitale was there -- she joins us live in chico..

Christina, this must have been so tough for them to relive the heartache.

Yes hayley there were tears shed but words of strength -- family's i spoke to traveled from out of the area to share their lost loved ones story with pg&e.

One of the victims who lost a relative tells me they were asked to not look at pge when giving their statements..

Instead they were told to look at the judge.

I felt they needed to know exactly what i was saying and look a my body language to know i was stern i was forward and i wanted them to get my point and so hey i feel better that they got to see me i got to see them and they showed a lovely picture of my brother in law and my dog daphne i'm just glad its over....it was difficult to speak and difficult to listen to everyone giving their speeches i just said i really miss my mother and i'm gonna live for her.....my ex brother in law he lived 7 houses down from me i tried to get him out the morning of the fire and he refused to leave he thought the fire was not that close and he wouldn't go even though i begged him too and i live with that every day i feel guilty i feel sad.

Some of the victims tell me this experience gave them a sense of closure... and others are still healing.

Live in chico christina vitale action news now coverage you can count on.

Pg&e ceo bill johnson was not present in today's testimonies - instead it was the interim ceo who showed up.

His name is bill smith.
