Memorial Day Program Held With Social Distancing

The city of Florence felt compelled to honor fallen Americans this Memorial Day and decided to continue ahead with it's Memorial Day program under set precautions.

But to hold this during the mid the middle of a pandemic they had to make sure people were social distancing.

Others tried to stay six feet apart at florence' memorial day program.

Only people speaking at the event and local leaders could come.

Some veterans showed up, too.

The city did consider canceling the event because of the coronavirus but that wasn't an option.
