New York to release school guidelines in June

Gov.

Andrew Cuomo says summer school will be completed through distance learning this year, and the state will develop guidelines for returning to school.

Distance learning will continue.

As for the fall....the governor says it's too early to make that decision.

But he does say the state will issue guidelines next month for a september re- opening.

--schools will use those guidelines to make a plan that needs state approval.

But again, the governor saying more facts are needed before saying students will go back.
