Student Officer Found Guilty of Sexual Offences

A West Yorkshire student police officer has been found guilty of sexually touching two women while on a night out.

PC Charlie Valente, aged 24, who is based at Learning and Organisational Development, was found guilty following a trial at Leeds Crown Court of three counts of sexual touching.

The charges relate to offences committed against two female victims between 4 and 5 November, 2022, in Leeds.

He is due to be sentenced on 3 June.
