A major escalation in Europe’s energy war: Russian crude oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia through the Druzhba pipeline have been suspended after an alleged Ukrainian attack on a transformer station.
Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó called the disruption “outrageous and unacceptable,” while Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry implied Hungary should blame Russia for starting the war.
