U.S. President Donald Trump has sanctioned four International Criminal Court (ICC) judges for pursuing war crimes investigations against American and Israeli troops over actions in Gaza and Afghanistan.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the ICC’s actions as illegitimate and a threat to U.S. sovereignty.
Netanyahu praised the move, calling the ICC charges political.
The ICC, EU, and UN strongly opposed the sanctions, warning they undermine global justice and shield war criminals from accountability.
