The United Nations Security Council has strongly condemned Pakistan over the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 25 tourists, allegedly orchestrated by Lashkar-e-Taiba.
In a tense closed-door session, UNSC members criticized Islamabad’s missile tests, nuclear rhetoric, and attempts to internationalize the conflict.
The Pakistani envoy rejected the accusations and blamed India instead.
Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General António Guterres and multiple diplomats urged restraint and dialogue to avoid further escalation between the two nuclear neighbors.
