Domestic equities market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty closed Monday's turbulent session up roughly half a percent, snapping a six-day losing streak.
The BSE Sensex rose 180 points, or 0.34 percent, to 52,974, while the NSE Nifty 50 index rose 60 points, or 0.4 percent, to 15,845.
