India reported highest infections of 2021 with 46,951 fresh COVID-19 cases and the COVID-19 tally mounted to 1,16,46,081.
The Union Health Ministry reported 21,180 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
With new numbers, total recoveries reached 1,11,51,468.
Currently there are 3,34,646 active cases in the country and with 212 new deaths due to COVID virus, death toll stood at 1,59,967.
