For public office two years ago ended in a narrow defeat to republican incumbent andy barr in the sixth congressional district.

Barr is being tested again as he runs for a fifth-term...this time by democrat josh hicks.

Libertarian frank harris rounds out the field.

Barr has focused on strengthening kentucky's signature bourbon, equine, coal, agriculture and manufacturing industries.

He says that he has fought for policies that will help the district during these difficult times.
