Floyd, Martin, Hazard Covid Exposure

Families have until wednesday to turn them in..

Students at floyd central high schools will be learning virtually the rest of the week after a staff member tested positive for the virus.

Students at the technology center and the school of innovation, for half a day, will also be virtual for rest of this week.

Games and practices are canceled for today.

The district says it will reevaluate, and make decisions on extra and co- curricular activities for the rest of the week at a later time.

A student in the martin county school district has also tested positive...but in- person classes will continue.

There will be extra cleaning and sanitation at the schools.

According to a letter from the district -- they are working to contact parents whose child may have been exposed.
