Everton F.C.

Everton Football Club is a professional association football club based in Liverpool, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. Founded in 1878, the club was a founding member of the Football League in 1888, and was a founding member of the Premier League in 1992, one of just three clubs to have been a founding member of both leagues. Everton are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in England, having won twenty-four major trophies: nine football league titles, five FA Cups, one European Cup Winners' Cup and nine FA Charity Shields.
