Shady Cove and Butte Falls support firefighters

And butte falls held a motorcade to honor and thank all of the firefighters and organizations that helped fight the south obenchain fire.

Both cities began the motorcade around 10 this morning where people lined up in the streets to cheer organizations like the oregon department of forestry..

The idea of the event started a little over three weeks ago when the community decided to get together to show their appreciation.

It always seems like t takes devastation to bring communities together.

And these small towns ive seen pull together like no other.

Its these trying times when we see the hardship of what is going on that brings people together for a good cause.

We just wanted to come out and thank everyone that tried to save homes."

Both the mayor's of shady cove and butte falls also thanked everyone that was apart of the obenchain fire before the motorcade started.
