North Iowa shelter no longer in quarantine

"* back on july 24th *- the men's and women's shelters in mason city were placed on quarantine.

Case numbers in cerro gordo county are on the decline ?

"* which allowed the restrictions to be lifted this week.

Inside though ?

"* masks are required in the communal areas in both shelters.

Executive director jeannie kingery has been a part of the shelter for seven years ?

"* and says she learned a lot during the quarantine "none of our decisions are perfect, and it's not black and white, there's a lot of gray areas.

There's a lot to figure out and consider especially dealing with such close quarters.

If cases do go back up ?

"* kingery tells me that reactivating the quarantine remains an option.
