It's National Farmers Market Week and the Cooperstown Farmers Market held a food drive to collect items and cash donations.

Market is having a give back ny food drive.

They're partnering with local food pantries, including the cooperstown food pantry, to collect both food and cash donations to help those in need during this pandemic.

In 2019, the food pantry served an average of 201 households, and 764 people a month in otsego county.

Residents are encouraged to buy food from the farmer's market and donate it to the pantry.
