At the university of oregon is helping with contact tracing.
"the uo student corps to combat coronavirus", or "corona corps" has been supporting lane county public health since july 1st.
The group is made up of 16 students,with about 25 more in reserve to expand as necessary.
They can manage over 125 people a day through the phone and their jobs includes check in with contacts to keep track of symptoms and see if they need any resources.
Students receive an hourly wage and tuition-free credits for their training.
