Carlton james activity center, is home to an after school turtoring and mentorship program.... news15 rain augustine spoke with community members on just how beneficial the program is for kids in the area.... rain.... "especially people that volunteer their services there every year you know, they look forward for them to do something with the community," program facilitator ,john newman says that he feels very supported by the community "the parents are extremely supportive.

I would say that we get a lot more back from the kids and the families than we feel like we give..."newman went on to say h's very thankful for the cit's support the mayor is very familar with our program and we know that he appreciates the value of our program and we are very thankful and appreciative of his support.
