Most traditional parades and celebrations were cancelled this year.

News.

Many fourth of july celebrations were cancelled this year -- but --- not all of them.

Harrisburg held a parade today -- but it looked much different from what we're used to.

They held a*reverse parade in order to keep everyone safe.

Participants built floats in their front yards and outside of businesses -- and attendees drove all through town.

Fire trucks and hawaiian ice vendors were*also roaming through neighborhoods to add some fun.

Residents say it was a successfu*socially distant celebration.

"its a lot smaller this year than its been because we tried to keep it down usually we have 50 people this time we have ten, some might not be too happy but its just the way it is."

Even though the parade went on-- their fireworks show*was cancelled.

But they say 20-21's independence day celebration will be*two days long with the biggest fireworks show ever.
