Pappy's Place, Charlie's Eatery and Pub, and Victoria's are the three restaurants participating.

New on daybreak new for you on daybreak?

Healthcare workers and first responders are fighting this pandemic from the frontlines.

Now... a financial group is partnering with three rochester restaurants to offer free meals to those hard workers.

Kimt news 3's madelyne watkins joins us live this morning to explain when and where the first meal offer will be taking place.

Madelyne./// brooke and tyler.

I'm at pappy's place in rochester and if you're someone working on the frontlines, you can call in here today and order a free meal.

It's all thanks to country financial's minnesota south agency.

They've donated 750 dollars to pappys to provide free meals to those risking their own health for others.

Pappy's place owner sheila (pa?is) pappas, tells me while this contribution is helping the business, it's more about being able to give back to the community.

She says this hits close to "we have our oldest daughter that's in the field over at mayo clinic and unfortunately, she's one of the ones caught up in the cut and pay.

She's taking a huge cut in pay during this time?

Which is very, very sad.

So absolutely, i know they will appreciate it, for sure."

The deal is one meal per person and it's only while supplies last... so it's first come, first serve.

Live in rochester.

Madelyne watkins kimt thank you madelyne.

The other two restaurants country financial partnered with are "charlie's eatery and pub" on wednesday and victoria's
