Alabama Businesses Waiting To Reopen

Customers are now allowed to dine-in at most restaurants and bars in tennessee.

But here in alabama -- we're still waiting to learn when we'll be able to do the same.

Waay 31's rodneya ross joins us live with how restaurants in huntsville are already preparing to reopen their dining rooms. as you just said -- some restaurants and bars here in lincoln county, tennessee are now serving customers in their dining rooms meanwhile -- those business owners in alabama are still only able to offer curbside pick-up and delivery.

Humphrey's bar and grill in huntsville decided to temporarily closed when the stay at home order was put in place.

Once that expired last week, the owners reopened and made adjustments.

They've moved tables six feet apart, added sanitizing stations and stocked up on cleaning supplies and protective gear.

One customer told us this is something restaurants should be doing from now on --but he's still hesitant to dine-in himself.

I work from home right now, so i don't have to worry about it, as much but once everything starts opening up more, again then i think ill be more conscious of it humphrey's told us employees are now wearing gloves and masks as they serve to- go orders.

We expect to hear more about a phase two of re- opening from the governor's office before may 15.
