In pictures : Crowds flock to Eastbourne's carnival

People lined Eastbourne’s seafront this weekend for the town’s annual carnival.This year’s theme was ‘Celebrations of the World’.The parade, which began at Western Lawns and ended at Princes Park, featured local schools, community groups, and charities.Judges awarded prizes for The Best Costume, The Best Float, The Best Performance and Best Non Sussex Entrant.Many utilise the event to raise money and awareness for local causes.
