Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of two assaults in Plymouth.

It was reported that on Sunday 3 October at between 4am and 4.30am an altercation involving three people has taken place outside Poundland on Royal Parade. A woman was assaulted to the head.

Between 5am and 5.30am outside the Old Dance Academy on Union Street it was reported that a further altercation has taken place where a man was assaulted to the face causing injury.

A 34-year-old woman from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have informed which could assist the police investigation, to get in touch.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/086089/21.
