Tyneside: Place in England
Tyneside is a conurbation of the River Tyne north and south banks in North East England which includes: City of Newcastle upon Tyne ; Town Gateshead ; North Tyneside: Wallsend, Tynemouth, North Shields, Whitley Bay and South Tyneside: South Shields, Jarrow. Between Tynemouth and South Shields, the River Tyne enters the North Sea. The population at the 2011 census was 774,891.
