Péter Magyar is a Hungarian lawyer and politician who was elected member of the European Parliament in 2024. Since 2024, he has been a member of and also the incumbent president of Tisza Party, Hungary's largest opposition party. As such, he is widely expected to be Viktor Orbán's challenger in the 2026 parliamentary elections.
