Israel has confirmed the death of Hamas top commander Muhammad Sinwar, whose body was found in a tunnel beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza.
The IDF released footage of the discovery, declaring, “He died the way he lived – underground.” Sinwar, brother of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar (killed last year), was targeted in a precision May 13 airstrike after intelligence tracked him to the hospital bunker.
His death marks a significant blow to Hamas’s leadership structure and tunnel warfare network.
