Tragedy struck in the Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh as BJP leader Pramod Yadav fell victim to a fatal shooting by unidentified assailants.
The incident unfolded near Bodhpur village within the jurisdiction of the Sikrara police station area.
According to Superintendent of Police (City) Brijesh Kumar, Yadav, a local resident, was driving his car when he was intercepted by motorcycle riders who ostensibly signalled to offer a card but instead unleashed a barrage of bullets upon him.
The attack occurred around 10 am, sending shockwaves through the community.
