The game takes place on the fictional island of Banoi, off the coast of New Guinea, a place that has a large tropical resort.
The game begins when the characters are woken up, hungover, the morning after a long party, by a voice from the emergency system, who helps them escape from the hotel.
There, they discover that the island's population has been infected by a virus, which has turned them into zombies.
After being attacked, they are saved by local lifeguard, Sinamoi, who believes the four are immune to the virus.
Afterwards, the survivors are forced to do countless tasks to stay alive while waiting for rescuers to get them off that island.
