The Rough-Skinned Newt (Taricha granulosa) is a species of carnivorous amphibian that lives in forested areas near swamps, ponds, and lakes in the Pacific Northwest.

The Rough-Skinned Newt produces a strong neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin and is also known as the Roughskin Newt.
