Emperor Penguin Chick Named After Thousands Cast Votes
Emperor Penguin Chick Named After Thousands Cast Votes

In San Diego, after the birth of a rare female emperor penguin at Seaworld, more than 29,000 people voted on what to name the two-month-old chick.

“Pearl” received more than half of the total votes, beating the names “Pandora” and “Astrid” in the race.

An appropriate name for an equally appropriate and adorable ball of fuzz.

Yair Ben-Dor has more.
