U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has said that Ukraine's future lies with NATO.
This damage control from the U.S. comes after Zelensky was denied NATO membership at the Vilnius summit last week.
Sullivan also added that if NATO granted Kyiv membership, then the bloc would come directly into conflict with Russia, and U.S. is not ready for a war with Russia.
