Actress Mira Sorvino attended the SOUND OF FREEDOM Red Carpet Premiere in Provo, Utah.

Director Alejandro Monteverde, Tim Ballard, writer Rod Barr, Angel Studios co-founder Jordan Harmon, Angel Studios CCO and co-founder Jeffrey Harmon, songwriter and record producer Fernando Garibay, and singer and songwriter Israel Houghton were also in attendance.

The film, written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde, follows the inspiring true story of Tim Ballard, a former government agent who puts his life on the line to rescue hundreds of children from sex trafficking.

The film seeks to bring awareness to the child trafficking crisis in the world and is distributed by Angel Studios, the crowdfunded studio behind the global sensation The Chosen.

SOUND OF FREEDOM is a thriller based on the incredible true story of Tim Ballard’s life.

He was a former government agent turned freedom fighter who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue dozens of children from human trafficking.

This emotionally riveting narrative is a powerful story of heroism and stands as a testament to the tenacious spirit of those who refuse to let evil triumph.

The film stars Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, Bill Camp, José Zúñiga and Eduardo Verástegui, who is also one of the producers.

SOUND OF FREEDOM is coming to theaters on July 4th.
