The Archbishop of Canterbury calls on the government to "rise to the challenge" and fix our care system.
In his New Year’s address, the Most Reverend Justin Welby describes the care system as “broken” but says that it “doesn’t have to be”.
He goes on to say that himself and the Archbishop of York will publish a report that offers a “hopeful vision of our society…were families and unpaid carers get support too”.
