Almost one year before the Kiely Rodni case there was the Gabby Petito case that got national and international coverage and also ended in tragedy ... I still Speculate that Brian Laundrie murdered Kylen and Crystal in Moab Utah.
The so-called Perpetrator they named many months later was a co-worker of Crystal and he became the "perpetrator" because a friend of his later said he described killing 2 women in Utah without much specific details then after telling him he conveniently off'd himself!!
Just so happens there was a Reward for that information!
Brian Laundrie had a motive to kill them because they witnessed his fight with Gabby outside of the Moonflower Co-op in Moab while sitting in Kylen's SUV using WiFi because neither of them had paid service on their cellphones.
Brian Laundrie mistakenly thought they called 911 on them because only moments after leaving in the van from the scene they were pulled over in the famous BodyCam footage!
Officers never informed them who called 911 which is obvious on the BodyCam footage.
Brian was first exposed in his Domestic Violence relationship during this incident and Gabby was strangled to death by him only about 2 weeks later around August 27th.
Don't forget that Brian went back to Florida during much of that gap between leaving Moab and murdering her in Wyoming!
FBI never released any of the Surveillance Footage they obtained to this day.
We know now that Gabby and Brian stayed in Moab at least 2 days after the BodyCam footage and seen at that Moab Tavern sitting close to Kylen and Crystal just hours before they were murdered!
Lots of Coincidences indeed plus what ever happened to Brian's 9mm that his lawyer admitted Brian took on their trip for "protection"?
It was a clip fed glock type 9mm and the gun found next to his remains later was a revolver owned by his father who said he didn't know it was missing!
So did Brian ditch his 9mm causing him to later take one from his father's collection?
Why else wouldn't he use his own... because he returned in Gabby's van to florida with everything except the black tarp that he wrapped her body in and of course without Gabby.
They even found the letter that his mom gave him and told him to burn after he read it!
Was found by the FBI that took items like clothing that he'd removed from the van according to his mother.
Obviously his mom didn't go through the pockets of his clothes or she'd found that letter she told him to burn!
So he still had the letter in the van but his gun disappeared??
Another thing is Kylen and Crystal told friends that if they were murdered it was a creepy guy hanging out at their campsite!
Crystal worked with the so-called Perpetrator they say did it and Kylen knew him also so they'd obviously not call him "a creepy guy" but maybe "weird guy Crystal works with" or something but not make it seem like it's some random stranger!
Because surveillance footage has been hoarded by FBI we still don't know for certain that Brian Laundrie flew by jet back to Florida to supposedly unload a Storage Locker.
Seems real likely though since he left Gabby at a motel directly next to the Salt Lake City Airport for about 6 days.
Even when Brian was still considered a Fugitive they never released any Surveillance Footage like from Airports and told businesses like the Motel to not talk to media!?
They obtained 6 days of surveillance footage of Gabby at that motel including Brian with her part of the time dropping her off then picking her up.
She was also at a restaurant and a hair dresser during that time on video and that's just in Salt Lake City.
Did Brian take the van to the airport or did she drop him off?
If he took the van and the keys since he didn't trust her and parked the van at the airport it makes it more obvious why she didn't just take off in the van while he was gone!
The Kylen and Crystal double homicide case was all over the news in Salt Lake City so there's no way she didn't hear about it.
I never thought she was with him when or if he did it, seems likely they stayed at that same motel that Brian got for free in Moab another night so he probably left her there when he did it.
Conveniently the Clerk at that Motel quit right after all this hit the news afterwards!
Was it because he pretended not to notice Gabby sneaking into Brian's room when they were supposed to spend the night apart?
As for a Cool Down period, they spent 6 days apart when Brian went to Florida so the BS in his so-called Confession Notebook which so far turns out to be a Notepad is Ridiculous saying they'd spent every day roasting in the heat prior to cold nights in Wyoming!
Gabby had just been lounging in a nice Motel/Hotel for 6+ days with a Breakfast Buffet Bar and eating Pizza her dad ordered for her!
He made it sound like she was so weak and fragile to trip over her own feet crossing that 4 inch deep creek and supposedly hit her head on a rock!!
