The Ukrainian Navy released a video on Thursday (March 24) of a huge plume of smoke, fire and flashes which it said was coming from the Azov Sea port of Berdiansk.
On its Facebook page the Ukrainian Navy said it destroyed the Russian Black Sea Fleet landing vessel ‘Orsk” in the port of Berdiansk.
The location of the video and photo was verified by port equipment, buildings and the geography of the area which match satellite imagery and file images of the port.
The date is corroborated by several videos and photographs, all uploaded to social media on Thursday showing smoke at the same location.
