Sevier discusses the Stop WOKE Act, which protects students from being indoctrinated with Critical Race Theory.
Noting that Black Lives Matter is a secular-humanist religion, Sevier states that the bill prevents public schools from promoting CRT under the U.S. Constitution’s Establishment Clause and individual state constitutions.
Furthermore, the bill gives parents standing to sue schools for promoting CRT and allows them to recover attorney’s fees.
