Kurdish-led forces regain control of Syrian prison

The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) regained full control of al-Sina'a prison in Syria's northeastern city of Hasaka on Wednesday, spokesman Farhad Shami said in a tweet, and all remaining Islamic State militants had surrendered.

But fears for the hundreds of children that were inside the prison when it was first seized by Islamic State inmates still remain.
