The world's first electric powerboat racing championship will feature craft influenced by birds flying low over water.
E1 series organisers have unveiled the new design of the electric 'RACEBIRD' powerboat.
Organisers say the vessel is inspired by nature and birds flying low over the water and features an outboard motor, enclosed safety canopy and hydrofoil technology.
The inaugural season is scheduled to take place in earl 2023 with Saudi Arabia to be one of the considered race locations.
