At tuesday's board of supervisors meeting, supporters of recalling 3 of the shasta supervisors filed a notice of intent.

Now that the notice of intent has been filed here at the shasta county office of elections, the 3 supervisors at the target of the recall have a chance to respond.

They don't have to but have until next tuesday to do so.

Once the petition is approved-- recall backers have 120 days to collect signatures.

They'll need to collect 20% in each one of the districts.
