Special election comes to a close in Houston County, Warner Robins

Houston County voters have until 7 p.m.

To get to the polls to vote in a special election to continue the ESPLOST.

Last thursday night... oglethorpe police responded to a crash.

And that's where they found haugabook's body.

Houston county voters have less than two hours to get to the polls ... to vote in a special election... to continue the e-splost.

Warner robins voters are also casting a ballot... to fill an open city council seat.

The polls close tonight at 7:00.

If you are in line at 7 p-m .... you can still vote.

We stopped by a voting precinct in perr.

And people were in and out ... in less than ten minutes.

We also spoke with houston county board of elections registration election assistant andy holland ... about why your vote matters.

Everybody's votes count in every election but you could see the more impact of those votes, especially in county and city elections.
