A Chico consignment shop has expanded offerings to attract a younger clientele and to support some Chico State students during the pandemic.
Orange Street Consignment opens to student sales during pandemic
Orange street consignment has been in chico for over twenty years..
The owner tells action news now during the start of the pandemic it was difficult for business.
But because the layout is so large and there is an open air layout it has made it easier to social distance.
Because of their extra space they are letting two college students who run 'second bloom' sell their merchandise in the store.
"they go around and they have done a great job of currating clothing that is intriguing to our young clientel.
So we have decided to turn this space over to them for a given time to let them have a space to show their products and let their clients come in and shop."
Usually the consignment store gets items from liquidations and estate sales.
They are open 10-5
