Political leaders across the globe have condemned the military in Myanmar following its declaration of control of the country for a year and state of emergency.
State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi had been placed under detention, along with other politicians.In the US, the Biden administration has warned that it will “take action” if the military continues with the coup and the detention of civilian leaders.
