Are doing their part to stop the spread of covid-19.
Cvs pharmacy administered vaccines at the west lafayette facility today.
Staff ages 18 and older were given the first doses of the moderna vaccine.
They were asked to sit and be monitored for 15 minutes afterwards.
That time doubled if they had a history of allergic reactions.
Executive director dave kinder says it's a step in the right direction when it comes to keeping residents safe.
"it's so important that the staff come together and get this shot.
The way that most of our residents are going to contract the disease is through contact with those that are leaving the building more than they are."
Cvs will return on february 5th to give staff their second dose of the vaccine.
