Man charged with capital murder in Florence

New information - after almost six years - an arrest is made in a double homicide in the shoals.

This man -- shaun ryan -- is charged with capital murder for killing - kayla glover and gary wayne baskins - back in 2015 outside a muscle shoals restaurant.

She's live outside of the colbert county jail with the latest on this case.

Ryan is being held here without bond for a slew of drug and gun charges.

Muscle shoals police told me they knew he was in jail and after getting an indictment this week served him with his new capital murder charges.

Ryan has a long wrap sheet in both colbert and lauderdale counties with burglary, drug, and even assault charges.

Muscle shoals police are being tight lipped on the case because it took them more than 5 years to investigate it and get charges against ryan.

It's unclear when his court date on the captial murder charges will be because he's still being held here.

It's also unclear when he will be transported to the colbert county jail for his new charges.

He's being held without bond.

His indicment isn't in court records yet but as soon as we get it we will publish it.
