Eviction Moratorium Goes Into Effect

The moratorium starts January 1, 2021-June 30,2021

N's eviction moratorium went into effect and is set to last for landlords and tentants through june 30th 20-21.

New protections for renters are not automatic.

Governor kate brown and the oregon legislature have made it illegal for landlords to evict their tenants if they can't pay their rent due to financial hardship.

But the new moratorium also helps landlords.
